Menstruación e injusticias en salud: un llamado a la bioética

Este artículo provee una propuesta de inclusión de la salud menstrual en la agenda de la bioética que parte del diagnóstico de que se trata de un problema subrepresentado en la disciplina. Se analizan casos ejemplificadores y actuales de este problema, se argumenta la necesidad de un abordaje bioético urgente acerca de salud menstrual que entrelace las perspectivas transfeministas, interseccionales y de derechos humanos. Lo anterior, en vistas de contribuir a que se garanticen los derechos de quienes menstrúan, especialmente en relación con la investigación médica, y con el acceso y la atención en salud.
